A seminar was organized on the topic of "Software Testing: Fundamentals, Career Opportunities, Testing Tools, and the Role of Artificial Intelligence," featuring, Mr. Piyush Patel,Founder & CEO,JigNect Technologies Pvt. Ltd.The session was attended by the students of the FCAIT-PG. The seminar was conducted with the objective of enhancing their understanding of contemporary software testing practices and industry expectations. The session covered the fundamentals of
software testing, emphasizing its significance in ensuring software quality and reliability. Students were introduced to the diverse career opportunities available in manual testing, automation testing, quality assurance, and test engineering. The lecture also highlighted widely used testing tools and techniques employed in both manual and automated testing environments, providing practical insights into real-world workflows. A dedicated segment explored the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in software testing, focusing on AI- driven test case generation, defect prediction, and intelligent test automation. Furthermore, the key differences between manual and automation testing were discussed, enabling students to understand the strengths, limitations, and appropriate use cases of each approach.
