About
Dr. Arpit Ashok Jain has been associated with GLS University, Ahmedabad since January 2012 and is currently serving with Faculty of Computer Applications & IT - PG Programmes. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he plays a key administrative role as the Academic IT - Manager for the University of Technology Sydney College (UTS College) India Campus and Academic IT Coordinator for the Seneca Polytechnic, Gujarat, India Campus at GLS University.
With 18 years of academic experience and a prior stint in the industry, Dr. Jain brings a strong blend of theoretical expertise and practical insight. He holds a Ph.D in Natural Language Processing, a sub-domain of Image Processing, and is a recognized Ph.D guide in the area of Computer Science. He earned his Master of Computer Applications from RGPV, Bhopal, and Bachelor of Computer Applications from Vikram University, Ujjain.
Dr. Jain has authored and published more than 17 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. He has also published book chapter with the Taylor & Francis Group, adding to his scholarly contributions. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for multiple international journals, contributing to the peer-review process and supporting research quality across the academic community.
He has actively contributed to curriculum development for the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Government of Gujarat, by serving as a co-translator and reviewer for a total of 06 textbooks titled Computer Studies for Classes 9th , 10th , 11th & 12th.
His academic interests span a wide range of emerging and established domains, including Natural Language Processing, Software Engineering, Project Management, Blockchain Technology, and System Analysis & Design. Dr. Jain is a regular participant and contributor at national and international conferences and workshops, reflecting his commitment to continuous academic growth and knowledge sharing in the field of Computer Science and Technology.
